I have been meditating for 10 years. At the time, I was experiencing sporadic episodes of anxiety and was trying to find a method to deal with the overwhelming pressure I was always unromanticizing to myself. In many ways, meditation has been my saving grace. It helps me stay sane, centered, and focused. Over the years, I've resorted to meditation in times of trepidation, anxiety, and fear. I've done more meditation in my vehicle than in interviews for jobs, I've surpassed significant life events like weddings and showers, speaking engagements, and months of meditation in a tiny broom closet at one of my corporate jobs. Every morning and afternoon, our IT man would allow me in so I could practice my TM for twenty minutes.
